Tuition/Registration Agreement

As an independent school, your tuition payments go directly to teachers/staff, the building lease and school operations and materials. It is critical that we work together to ensure the success and sustainability of our school.

Parent/Guardian: By signing below you acknowledge that:

The annual tuition is based on a 10-month school year. Tuition may be paid in the following manner: A) Yearly Lump Sum = One payment due September 1st with discount B) Monthly =10 payments from August (June deposit) through May.

When you register, the expectation is that you have enrolled your child for one full school year (September - June). Withdrawing mid-year is strongly discouraged and requires 3 months notice and 3 months of tuition payments from the date of notice.

Payments that are over 60 days past due could begin to affect the operations of the school and may be subject to student dismissal. Without immediate remediation, the parent may be subject to additional fees and penalities or it will be submitted to a collection agency.

DEDUCTIONS: No deductions will be made for days, weeks or months absent from school. Vacations or illnesses will not be deducted from tuition. Tuition must be paid in order for student to maintain enrollment.

REFUND POLICY: All payments completed are NON-REFUNDABLE.

COVID-19: There will be no refunds for school closures related to COVID-19. Every effort will be made to continue with high quality remote/home learning in the event of a government mandated closure and to resume in-person classes as soon as AHS deems it safe to do so.

HOURS OF SERVICE/LATE PICK UP FEES: Our school hours are 8:30am-3:30pm. The building is open to students at 8:15am and closes to students at 3:45pm. After 3:45 pm, a late pickup charge of $5.00 for every 10 minutes is due and payable directly to the staff member assuming responsibility for your child after closing hours.

By signing this agreement, I commit to doing my part to ensure I make all payments on TUIO in a timely manner in order to support the success and sustainability of the Calgary Changemaker School.
